About the Dowdy’s

I am Roy Dowdy and I’m starting a church in Burlington in the summer of 2010. I grew up in a pastor’s home in Windsor, Ontario and I’m excited to be returning to Canada to pastor my own church.  My wife & best friend Tracey is a Cape Bretoner who has followed and supported me throughout my ministry. We have two teenage daughters who will be key in reaching youth and helping us establish a music and arts team.

My ministry training includes a seminary degree in Bible and Music and a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.  My prayer is that God will use this training along with our 20 years of ministry experience to further HIS kingdom in Canada and where ever HE would lead us.

I am living in Burlington, Ontario and our family cannot wait to meet you!  We pray you will join us for our first service on August 22, 2010.
